Is the virtual fair free to attend?

Yes! The AAMC Virtual Medical School Fair is completely free for students and aspiring medical school applicants. Just register to participate.

What is the difference between the two days of the fair?

October 27: Join us for live information sessions featuring admissions officers and other experts covering a variety of premed topics.
October 28: Explore exhibitor booths, connect directly with medical school representatives, and get answers to your questions.

What kinds of exhibitors will be at the fair?

Most exhibitors are U.S. MD-granting medical schools, but you'll also have the chance to connect with associations (like AAMC and NAAHP), student organizations (like SNMA and LMSA), and other organizations related to the health professions, such as the U.S. Army and the National Health Service Corps.

I'm having trouble registering. Why isn't my AAMC username and password working?

The virtual fair uses a separate platform from other AAMC applications, so you'll need to create a new account to register.

What if I can only attend part of the event?

No problem! You're welcome to come and go throughout the day as your schedule allows. You don't need to attend the entire event.

Will I be required to turn on my camera or microphone?

No! Most conversations with exhibitors will take place through text-based chat, so you won't need to use your camera or microphone. Some exhibitors may also host short presentations or offer Zoom conversations for attendees who prefer to connect through video or audio.

How can I speak directly with medical school admissions representatives?

You can connect with admissions representatives through text-based chat rooms or direct messaging to ask questions and learn more about their schools. Some exhibitors may also offer opportunities to connect through Zoom or video conversations. Check their booths for details.

Can I see when representatives from a specific school will be available?

Yes! You can check the schedule to see when each exhibitor will be available to chat. The schedule will be updated leading up to and during the event, so be sure to check back for the latest information.

Will the sessions be recorded?

All information sessions will be recorded and available to registrants through the virtual fair platform. We'll also email you the recording links by October 30^th.

How long will I have access to the virtual fair and its resources?

The virtual fair platform will remain open for 30 days after the live event. You can log back in during that time to review chat transcripts, watch recorded sessions, and download resources shared by exhibitors.
